If you are experiencing perinatal or postpartum mood and anxiety disorders during or after pregnancy, you are not alone. We are here to walk with you. Join us for support, resources, guidance, and to connect with others.
A perinatal or postpartum mood and anxiety disorder (PMAD) is the term used to describe distressing feelings that occur during pregnancy (perinatal) and throughout the first year after pregnancy (postpartum).
This group is free to attend, we ask and encourage you to attend regularly to get the greatest benefit of being a part of the community.

The prenatal and postpartum yoga program at Birth In Color RVA with Tyanna Haynes and at Sentara Careplex with Donna Watkins is designed to prepare you for your unique birth experience, both physically and mentally, while relieving the stresses that are put on your body. Prenatal and postpartum Yoga may also help alleviate other discomforts such as low back pain, sciatica, and swelling. Yoga can also help with the emotional and mental stress of pregnancy, including restless sleep.
