This November, reproductive freedom will be on the ballot in Virginia — and Virginians for Reproductive Freedom is officially kicking off its public campaign to make sure it passes. Birth in Color is proud to join our coalition partners for this historic day.
The constitutional amendment would protect Virginians' right to make personal decisions about prenatal care, childbirth, postpartum care, birth control, abortion, miscarriage management, and fertility care — and protect patients and providers from punishment for those decisions. For Black and BIPOC families who have long faced systemic barriers to reproductive healthcare, this amendment isn't just policy. It's protection.
